SNORKEL WITH TURTLES

Very early in the morning we leave for Akumal, which is an ecological reserve that means “Land of turtles”.

This beautiful reserve with soft and fine sand and wrapped by the coolness of the palm trees, it is impossible to resist to dive into its crystal clear and warm waters to swim with turtles and colorful fish to observe marine life in freedom, the advantage of arriving very early is that there are no people and so we avoid the crowds to enjoy this incredible experience.

Akumal is the place that turtles have chosen to make it their home and thus grow their family, where there is also a beautiful coral reef that we can observe.

This experience is one of the most beautiful and one of the most connecting with nature, since being able to observe the turtles in their marine life is extremely invigorating.

And why only observe and not touch them? Well, because you have to respect them and not invade their space, you simply have to see them and witness how beautiful they are, share the space where they live in which we are only guests and allow them to transmit their peace to us.
